When Harry Met Elsa
Okay - not really. But we are learning more tonight about two big events certain to draw fans to the parks this winter.
Ok -- in one case Fall, too. Friday, Disney celebrated the final "Not So Scary" Halloween Party. Friday is the first "Very Merry Christmas Party" at the Magic Kingdom. But one of the key attractions started yesterday.
Yes, Elsa, Anna, Kristoff & Olaf are now making nightly appearances as Elsa transforms Cinderella Castle into an Ice castle. This is the first time we've had a walk-around Olaf in the parks. The show itself is cute, and IMHO makes more sense than the old show starring Cinderella. It's a natural fit. Our friends at Orlando Attractions Magazine were there for opening night last night and recorded it for you to see.
The "A Frozen Holiday Wish" ceremony happens twice nightly at the Magic Kingdom through December 31st. Disney's other holiday night show, "The Osborne Family Spectacle" debuts tomorrow night at Disney's Hollywood Studios. Steve from WDWMagic.com says Jack Skellington will make an appearance.
The other celebration we're learning more about is at Universal Orlando. We're told you before how Universal is trying to make its "A Celebration of Harry Potter" an annual event.
Today Universal revealed some of the celebs who will attend the expo Jan. 30-Feb. 1, 2015.
Yes, the Weasley twins will be back. As will Luna Lovegood.(James & Oliver Phelps and Evanna Lynch ) Last seen in Orlando for the red carpet sneak peek of Diagon Alley.
Robbie Coltrane will be there too. He's Hagrid in the film series. And for the first time, Dumbledore himself will be here.
Those are head shots for the stars, including Michael Gambon,

Speaking of Universal: a shoutout to the Cowfish. This unique eatery combining sushi & burgers is now in soft-opening at CityWalk. Yes. That includes its signature "Burgushi" which, as it sounds, includes fusion dishes combining burgers & sushi.
You can read more -- and check out the menu of CowFish here.
CowFish winds down phase 1 of the major makeover and expansion of CityWalk. Phase 2 started November 1st with the closing of the NASCAR Sports Grille. There will be a replacement. Universal hasn't said yet what that will be.
